Welcome close friends, world family and, space tavelers everywhere, to the home site of Snowbird Creek Music and Snowbird Creek Photography, and the home planet of Dempsey Dave, featuring the sounds and sights of David Albert Lee.

Check out the music site and hear forty original songs on three CD's. On the first CD, SHOW ME THE WAY, completed in 1997, listen as Dave takes you on wild rides, fun adventures and mystical experiences with stories about an alien from a highly advanced planet sent to Earth to help humans, a frog with gold teeth who plays a flute, a rodeo cowboy learning how to yodel, an old hippie longing for the days of Woodstock, a tribute to toes and a fan who takes over a Kenny Rogers concert.  For those more down to Earth, he has songs of love, songs of marriage and songs of family.  The second CD, COUNTRY TOONS, finished in 2008, has more of a country twang to it, reflecting DD's deep desire to sound like Waylon Jennings. Lifetime associations with North Carolina hillbillies, Tennessee farmers and Arizona outlaws helped flavor this musical stew.  Although he tried to be real serious he just couldn't quite get away from his whimisical car'toon'ish view of life, as depicted in some songs about wanting to be Annie Oakley, having a big ole fight with his L.A. girlfriend right there on stage, being Ricky Nelson's modern-day alter ego, and begging the Devil to deal him to Nashville. Yosemite Sam couldn't have sung it better.  With the 3rd CD, DARK ANGEL, also completed in 2008, David gets serious, telling sad sweet stories about Hurricane Katrina, Princess Diana, Visions of Jesus, Dreams with Carlos Castanada, and various other magical people he has met in his Time Travels.  All the songs are fully arranged with musical accompaniment by some great musicians. I have many more songs written and hope to continue working with other musicians to make beautiful sounds for you.  Help us by giving us your first born child, listing us first in your will, and sending us all the change on your dressers and in your hearts.  CD's can be purchased, right now through our store in Flagstaff (Interstate Shell, 928-774-1312 for $10.00 + 5.95 S&H).  I'll even sign them for free. And if you call right now I'll sign it twice. Hopefully in the near future I'll have the songs available to download as singles, but you will miss the groovy CD photos and 12-page booklets that include not only the sing-a-long lyrics but the meaning to life.  But that's what you get (or don't get) for 99 cents.

Hang on, get ready, close your eyes and push the PHOTOGRAPHY button to take a scenic ride through 'David's Dreams and Desert' landscape.  Ok, now open your eyes!  Cool.  I'll keep posting more.  Keep your eyes open, especially in your dreams.  DD
